July (Holiday, Injury, Birthday & Vacation)

Everyone finally seems to be healing from all the sickness we had in June - thank goodness!  However, there is more to come...

Mason - his cheek/nose healed nicely and he only had a little shiner...he looked adorable though.  He did however, manage to get a sty - a HUGE one.  It was so big you could see across the room protruding from his eye.

Don - he finally passed his kidney stones with no problem :)  However, Don called me again from work and said he was on his way to Urgent Care because he could move his arm or raise it above his head.  Urgent Care told him he had a torn rotators cuff and put him in a sling.  Fabulous...this man's job requires 2 arms.  Thankfully his work kept him working on light duty.  We later find out that he has tendinitis - whew...I was really happy that he didn't have to have surgery :)

Zach - he continued to stay healthy and play summer ball!  Oh and he turned 15 - I can't believe my baby is 15...where did the time go.  We enjoyed a nice dinner with family and friends at Outback Steakhouse.

Me - I'm still healthy :)

July 4th was a good weekend.  Don, Mason and I went to Grandview and watched the fireworks and then bolted afterwards - no traffic :)  Zach was too tired so he stayed in bed (such a party pooper)!  Over the weekend we went to Jerry's - he had family and friends over to watch the WJ fireworks, which turned out to be really good.  I'll have to watch next year.

Don and I decided to take vacation the week of July 25 - the boys went camping with Dad for a few days and then Don and I joined them for 2 days as well.  Don and I hung around the house and then went to the Columbus Zoo and I got to see the polar bears - love them!  Camping was a bit miserable - it was extremely hot, which reminded me why I hate camping.  I stuck it out though because the kids loved having us there.

Don, Zach and I went to the Cincinnati Reds game and OMG loved our seats - 3 rows up from the Reds dugout.  I got to see my favorite player JOEY VOTTO!  Sweet!

Busy month, but totally enjoyed it!
