Today is the first day of the Hilliard Memorial 8th Grade Baseball tryouts - as usual, I'm nervous. I'm not sure why, Zach has been practicing with his summer league team all winter long - its just something about trying out for the school team that makes me sick to my stomach. He has also been working out with Don at the YMCA too, he actually has some biceps going on...he has also thinned out a lot. Anyways, it's 4:30pm and Don is in the school parking lot texting me and wondering how it went. Keep your fingers crossed!
UPDATE: All they did was condition...he didn't even get to touch a baseball!
