Where have I been...

geeeesh...it's been awhile. Time passes by so quickly, I really don't know where to begin. During the holiday season I got a lot of time off, so I did a lot of shopping, sleeping and hanging out with Christy. For New Years, Don, Christy and myself met Josh and Tasha at Red Lobster (yummy!); afterwards Christy went to hang out with a "friend," Tasha and Josh went to Nataleigh's for game night and Don and I were going to go to the movies, but it started to late so we headed over to my Dad's to see what other movies were playing...we decided just to get a movie and go home. Well, let's just say, Don fell asleep at 10:30pm - what a way to celebrate the New Year!

Anyways, Zach started batting practice - seems so early, but he needs to get ready for tryouts for the 7th grade team. I really hope he makes it, but I'm sure there are a lot of kids that are really good. Keep your fingers crossed :) Mason is is usual self, which is unpredictable. The kids have been enjoying a lot of the gifts they got for Christmas. They started back to school with no problems, so that was good.

Jerry officially put my Mom's house up for sale. I had a few more things I had to pick up and while Jerry was there grabbing last minute stuff too, Pattie was cleaning the bathroom. My emotions took over and I started to tear up...why am I crying over a house? I'm not sure except this was my home, the last place my mother lived and the last place I lived with her. My memories are there and now this is the last official physical thing I have to let go of...you would think 4 years later I could "get over it" but I can't, I guess I never will...

Over the holidays, I gained 5 pounds...not much, but enough for me to tell the difference so I started back at Weight Watchers. I'm going to try desperately to lose 20 more pounds...I want to be skinny so I can wear those adorable spring clothes. I've been walking on the treadmill everyday for 20 minutes which has been giving me a lot more energy. I feel great!

Oh, I forgot to mention, Don painted my kitchen....LOVE IT! My house is slowly coming together...2 more years and I'm selling :) and moving on to a bigger house!
