We got up early Sunday morning and headed to Circle S Farms - we were there by 10am. It was a great time to go because there was maybe 7-10 cars in the parking lot. First, let me say that I cannot believe how much it costs to play in hay, take a hayride and pick a pumpkin - for the 4 of us it cost $38 (and we only got 2 pumpkins). Anyways, our first stop was the bakery to get a sugar high on the pumpkin spice donuts (yummy). Then we headed straight for the barn full of hay to play in. What a blast that was...the boys decided we should play tag in the hay - let's just say I'm not as young as I thought I was...I was exhausted running after them and they a lot bigger now so it makes it hard to catch them :) We headed out for hayride to pick our pumpkins, I haven't been to Circle S in a while, but the hayride was much shorter than I remember. As they took us out to the field, we noticed a truck full of pumpkins that several guys were unloading onto the fields - so bascially we didn't actually "pick" our pumpkins they were picked and rolled for us to bring home. Anyways, we had a great time.
After spending our morning at the pumpkin patch, Missy asked us to go to Boo at the Zoo with her, Brian and Reese. We met at there house, went to lunch and up to the Zoo. All the kids were so cute dressed up in the Halloween costumes. Mason is the "scream" guy from the movie and Reese was a witch (the cutest one I saw)! Zach of course is "too cool" for costumes this year. The Zoo was fun, we haven't been in a long time so I was anxious to see the elephants and monkeys (my favs).
