Well...where do I start - I can't stand school or should I say I can't stand my kids going to school. Zach has been doing a great job keeping up with his assignments (thank God!); however the homework is unbelievable...let's just say he has homework in every subject every night. I thought...WOW, we are off to a great start by actually keeping up. So tonight around 9:30pm, I decided to check my email because I was bored...low and behold...there's an email from Zach's Social Studies teacher letting everyone know that he made a mistake and p.12 should be completed by tomorrow...hello...Zach's in bed. Oh, and there is a 30 page PowerPoint presentation we need to print for him for tomorrows open book test...are you kidding...30 pages on my little color ink-jet printer....so much for conserving ink. I've very frustrated that school is now become school for your child and the parents. I think this is why I can't stand school because I feel like I'm repeating every grade again. I don't ever remember my parents having to spend so much time helping me. So...my homework every night...check my email at 6pm when I get home. And I didn't even mention all the stuff we do for Mason...I think the beginning of the school year should be "Welcome back students (and parents), we look forward to sending all work home for you enjoy with your child." I guess I should just "home school"!

That's a crazy amount of homework!
I hope things look up for you guys. And I hope the boys homework gets lighter.
If you're going to help that much, they mise well quiz and test you also.
