Felt like Prom to me...

Tonight was the 8th Grade Semi-Form Dance at Memorial Middle School.  All week Zach kept asking me what he was going to wear and finally last night I bought his shirt and tie (nothing like waiting until the last minute - thank GOD I have boys).  He bought his and Alexis' ticket with his own money (from mowing his Grandpa's lawn).  I was pretty proud that he bought her ticket on his own with his Mom telling him too...good boy!  Anyways, when I got home tonight he seemed a little nervous, but overall ok.  He thought he looked sexy and should be in a calendar...whatever!
His friend Jessica Justice (no relation to me), the daughter of Kent Justice (you may remember him from Channel 6) was having a pre-party at her house.  I had asked Zach how many couples would be there and he named like 2 or 3 and told me that I really didn't need to go there because no one would taking pictures.  I said, I don't care...I'm going to take pictures.  OK, I should know better...boys don't find out anything and at all and when they do they don't tell their mothers.  When we got there, it was a small crowd, I knew a few parents...within minutes...lots and lots of kids were there...never expected that. You would have thought this was the red carpet with all the mothers flashing their cameras.  I took 135 pictures in 45 minutes...so much to share, but here are a few of my favs...aren't they adorable?
