I'm so excited to say that I am taking Karen Russell's "The Photographer's Workshop" - here is her personal blog. Karen is a fabulous photographer - her main subject - kids, family and friends! Karen also was a scrapbook designer - she actually had her own personal line of products through Creative Imaginations. While working at Cord Camera, I was forunate enough to meet Karen when she visited the store to teach scrapbooking classes. The thing about Karen that I love is she is a self taught photographer, she was a dental hygenist for 12 years before she started her scrapbooking line which then evolved into her own photography business.
The Photographer's Workshop officially started yesterday, Monday, March 29. Each day there is a different lesson to read and/or listen too and then on Friday, we are left with an assignment. I'm super excited about this class, but alittle frightened by the schedule...so if I don't blog for a while...it's because I'm too consumed with this class, baseball and everyday life stuff.
