Then, a week or so later, I attended Mason's 4th Grade Holiday party...not very exciting, but Mason loves for me to go...(I should enjoy it while I can, because if you haven't already notice I don't get to attend Zach's school stuff)...here's Mason at the cookie station.

Here's Mason with his teacher, Mrs. Huffman...

I had to work on Christmas Eve - Bob took a couple of vacation days and it was wonderful not having him around, however, he wasn't there to tell me to leave early. Don was on call the week of Christmas so of course he got called out on Christmas Eve to board up a broken window on a vacant house - really...was that necessary? NO...for real people...a vacant house! I was bitter about it...can you tell?
This year for Christmas I was so prepared...I had all my presents wrapped early and my house was clean since I was having my family over for Christmas. Christmas morning we opened our gifts...the BIG gifts this year for the kids was an I-Pod Touch (for Zach) and a XBOX 360 (for Mason). Don and I got each other a few small items since we bought a 47 in HDTV. Around 9:30am we went to Jerry's house for breakfast and to open gifts - it was a lot of fun...but again...not the same with my Momma:( Around 11:30am, we came back home and my sister and her family plus my Dad and Jeanette came over for Christmas dinner and more gifts to open...here's an annual family picture...

Oh and I can't forget my precious Rylie...he was very excited to see his gift from Barb...(Don's photography skills aren't that great - of course he cut off my head)!

For New Year's Eve, Don and I went to dinner at Cap City Diner (very good food) and then went to see AVATAR at the I-Max theatre...TOTALLY AWESOME...YOU'VE GOT TO SEE IT IN 3D.
Enough of me babbling on...hope everyone had a great NEW YEAR!
