The Wilds

This morning we headed out to celebrate my Dad's birthday at The Wilds. We were a little worried because it started off raining this morning, but by the time we got there it stopped. The weather was cool and cloudy, but that means the animals were out and about. We chose the closed bus because everyone thought they would get cold. Here are a few pics..

This mean looking thing is a Sichuan Takin which actually got near the fence and got a little bit of an attitude towards the kids. I'm glad they weren't standing to close because they are mean by nature.


This is a Dhole, which is a Asian wild dog (looks like a fox to me)!


This is my Dad...love this picture...he doesn't even look like he could be 60.


I took this picture of the Buck because this is as close as Don and John would ever get to one :)


The Cheetah's seemed to be popular, there were a lot of photographers there will their huge lenses (I was jealous)!
