Picture Day!

Yesterday, we met Ben at Homestead Park to get some family pictures. We haven't had pictures of us as a family since early 2004, so I thought it was about time. Ben gave me one rule: do not wear black and white. First, every woman wants to wear black because it makes us look skinny...so all week I started to consider what the heck we were going to wear. We ended up wearing jeans (Yes, Mason wore jeans - he hates them, but I told him he didn't have a choice) and our colors were brown, light tan and teal. The kids looked absolutely adorable - fine young men I have :) I told the kids to make sure to listen to Ben if he said stand, sit, turn your head a certain way and this would go much quicker. It started off great...no problems, then Don decided he would start grabbing or touching us to distract us so we would start laughing. Then Ben decided to take a few individual pictures of each us and of course we all have to make jokes while it's our turn. Mason is super sensitive especially when it comes to Zach making fun of him, so we can't have a picture day without a few small tears. Mason quickly pulled himself together and we started to get some more shots. We were there about an hour and Ben got about 130 shots - I look forward to seeing them and will share a few with you!
