It's Tuesday evening around 9pm, Mason and Zach have a late start on Wednesday so they didn't have to be in bed as early as usual. I'm laying in bed watching The Biggest Loser when Mason comes in and says, "Mom, can I lay with you for a little bit?" (My heart starts to hurt (in a good way) - my little baby boy wants to lay with his mommy...oh how sweet) Of course I tell him yes and while we are laying there watching TV we just talk and as always Mason has the funniest/cutiest/silly things to say...
1. Mom, How did these people get so big? (talking about the Biggest Loser)
2. Mom, Do you wish I was still a baby?
3. Mom, If these people lose 1 pound each will they get kicked off the show? (back to the Biggest Loser)
4. Mom, Can we go to Disneyland for vacation next year?
5. Mom, When I have kids will you want them to come over and spend time with you?
6. Mom, I love you more than you love me (IMPOSSIBLE)
Oh how I love these moments...I know they are few and far between, but I am going to cherish every second Mason wants to be with his Mommy! I just wish Zach would have those moments, but considering he's 13 with an attitude, I just don't see it in my future.
