Long and busy weekend...

Friday, September 4
We had a very busy Labor Day weekend which started early on Friday (I was happy to leave at 3:45pm)! Mason spent the night with Grandpa Jerry and Pattie - so me, Don and Zach headed out to do something...we ended up stopping at Dad's to say Hi and then headed over to Bob Evans for dinner, then Home Depot and Kohls (believe it or not, Zach loves to shop at Kohl's - we bought him 2 pairs of jeans).

Saturday, September 5 (GO BUCKS!)
We had an early start on Saturday morning - we went to the Neverman tailgating party. We met Mike (he works with Don) at the shop and drove over to campus together. I've never been tailgating so it was quite interesting to see all the people and what they were wearing (or not wearing). There was lots of good food, games, drinking and socializing (which apparently according to Don I did not do a lot of). I only knew a few of the guys from when Don worked there before, so I guess I was a little shy (I know it's hard to believe that I could be shy). Zach had a great time - he played corn hole with Drew (Mike's son) and two girls who were clearly in their 20's, the whole time Don and I were thinking Zach has got to be heaven and thinking to himself "I can't believe this girl is standing beside me!" We ended up leaving around the beginning of 3rd quarter so it didn't take us long to get back to the car.

When we got home, we started getting ready for the Corn Festival in Millersport, Ohio. We went with Jerry and Pattie - we also saw Nancy, Kurt, my aunt Diana, uncle Mike, my Mama. The corn was scrumpdelicious (I know that's not a word, but its the best way for me to describe the buttery piece of heaven). Mason rode lots of rides of course, but he only let Don and I ride a few because we were taking up his tickets and he only had 30. Tracy Lawrence was playing that night, but we didn't stay for the concert because it would have been forever to get out of there, however, before I left I definitely had to have an elephant ear!

Sunday, September 6
No time to sleep in, we had to get up at the crack of dawn to go to baseball. The Hilliard Cubs won the first game, but lost the second. Don left to go play in golf league and didn't get home until later so the kids and I headed over to Jerry and Pattie's for a cookout and then to the Ox Roast (which was extremely boring) so we left and came home. Finally relaxation!

Monday, September 7
Christy and I headed up to B&B scrapbooking and bought a few things, then to the Flower Factory where I found some great deals on Thickers :) Then we spent over an hour at HH Gregg looking at TV's. Afterwards, me, Zach and Don headed over to Bob Evan's for dinner with the Hoover's!

Well, that about wraps up my weekend!
