Well...considering the last time I wrote was in February...a lot has happened. But I'll just give you the most the exciting new information...Zach made the 7th Grade Hilliard Heritage Baseball Team! Yippee! Yoo Hoo! I was very stressed out the entire week of tryouts. I knew he was capable of making it, but you never know how good your kid is until they are up against other good kids. Don and I were very proud of him. They have had a couple of games so far...with all the rain we have had in April, they cancelled more than they have played. Last night, Zach got to pitch! Yep, pitch...not my favorite thing, but I survived. I looked at Don and said, "I'm not nervous...I just feel like throwing up!" I didn't...but I wanted too...you want your kid to succeed at everything they try and I must say for little pitching that Zach does, he did a great job! We're proud of you Zach!
Mason is getting ready to start his baseball as well. This year he's on the Angels...he wasn't really excited about not being a Tiger anymore...but a change is good. Once again, Don and I will have very busy summers.
I'm getting ready to leave for our National Manager's Meeting in Dallas next week. I'm not very excited about it, I'll be busy from sun up to sun down. And to top it off, we just found out that this July we won't be getting raises because of the economy. I have mixed feelings...our company is in no way shape or form in bad shape...matter of fact we still purchase properties that are millions of dollars, so really they can't spare that $.50 extra I might get on the hour???? I know...I should be thankful that I have a great job, but really...everyone is motivated by MONEY. OK, I'm done with that.
My friend Tasha and Leslie are pregnant...yes, we all probably know by now, but since its been awhile since I blogged and my family and friends might not know...I wanted to share it. I don't get to see Leslie, so I'm not sure how her baby belly is looking, but Tasha looks so stinking cute...her little belly is popping out...and way too quick! I'm really excited for both of them, they'll be a great Mom! I'm also sure that in the very near future...Missy will be trying for baby #2.
Well...hopefully I'll be back sooner than 2 months!
