This weekend I spent time with friends, which was a nice change. Saturday, Tasha came over to scrapbook - I don't invite many people over since my house is unfinished, however, I think Tasha was feeling a little left out :) I think she got stuff done, but I did not. I'm working on an album for Don for Christmas - he was home that day, so everytime he someone came downstairs we had to scramble to cover things up. How come men only want to bother you when you have company over? Anyways, I think I got 2 pages done...I think next time I'll be taking my scrapbooking gift to someone else's house!
Saturday night my sister had a "Spooker Euchre" night. There were 24 people there plus 8 or so kids. There was lots of food...too much food...I ate way too much. The party started about 5:30, but we didn't start playing cards until around 6:30 after everyone arrived and ate. I haven't played euchre in a long time, so I was a little nervous - but I had a great time. One good thing I can always count on when playing a progressive euchre game...Don always wins FIRST place - his prize was a $20 gift card Dicks Sporting Goods and a Bath and Body Works Pumpkin candle and lotion (a prize for both of us)!
Sunday morning I picked up Christy and we met Leslie, Amy, Michelle, Brenda, Terri and Tasha at First Watch for breakfast. I tend to forget about this breakfast/brunch place, but it has great food! It's always nice to get together with Leslie when she's in town - she always has good stories to tell us about her life in Michigan. I miss her and hope soon that her and Dustin will move back to the BUCKEYE state!
